Ever since the 1960’s, ‘rock and roll lifestyle’ has been associated with drugs. And in some way, it has also influenced drug use among youngsters who idolise rock stars like Jim Morrison and Curt Cobain and feel nothing that their idols do could be wrong.

Into the 21st century, this culture may not be as rampant, but it has caught on with some other genres such as pop and rap and become intrinsically associated with the lifestyle culture of the music industry.
